SpongeBob SquarePants Cookies

These SpongeBob SquarePants cookies were created for a friend's son's birthday.  This was my first attempt at cartoon character cookies.
They were not easy at first, but I did get the hang of them.
I'm thinking of making some Dora the Explorer next!

Alvin's Chocolate Fudge Cake

This chocolate fudge cake was made for my son Alvin. It was decorated in my last Wilton Cake Class where we had just learned the basket weave.
Alvin really enjoyed his special cake made just for him.

My First Wedding Anniversary Cake

This cream cheese pound cake was created for a friend's 6th wedding anniversary.  I had just learned how to make roses in class 2 days prior.  Whew!  The bride let me design the cake myself which I was honored to do for her.

There are 6 roses on top and then 6 roses at the base for each year of thier marriage.
The married couple called me minutes after I left thier home to let me know how delicious the cake was.

Graduation Cookies - My First Big Order

These cookies were for a friend who was planning a graduation party for her husband.  It is my largest request yet of 125 cookies.  It took me 4 days and nights to get them done.  I am so glad that the tassle breakage was minimal and that I was able to get everything completed on time.  It was a great learning experience of what I can handle with my boys being home all week and one of them not feeling well.

The Princess and the Frog Cupcakes

These chocolate and vanilla cupcakes were for my niece who just turned 7.
The cupcake toppers were rings that the kids could wear afterwards.  We had a great time at her party.  The theme was perfect because she is a little princess.  And my little cake tester was very pleased!  :-)

I was very excited to do these cookies as they are my first holiday order request.
I finally got the hang of working with Royal Icing for the summer.  Yeah!!!
